Dr. Shaikh N. Hasan was born in Bangladesh. He graduated from Chittagong medical college hospital on 1987 and worked as a resident medical officer at international center for Diarrheal Disease and Research (ICCDR) for a year and migrated to Canada. There he prepared for USMLE and worked with mentally challenged patient population. He was accepted in to family medicine residency program in Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, NY. He completed his residency training in 1996 and took a position as director of family practice, Syracuse Community Health Center, NY. Later he joined Brooklyn Hospital Center, department of family medicine as attending faculty member. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor at department of medicine at Cornell Medical University. Dr. Hasan is a contributing author of The “Management of Adult Urgencies and Emergencies” published by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins. Currently he is engaged in full time private practice at Brooklyn, NY. He is happily married with Sabrina Mahboob. She is an Assistant Professor of radiology at the Winthrop medical university.
